Vickie Ray McEntire

Vickie Ray McEntire has been telling stories since she was a child.  She's a small-town girl who has always dreamed of being a writer.  She finally realized she was a writer and started sharing her storytelling with others. She has written countless short stories, poems, and a one-act play. She has also edited a biography written by a native survivor of the Korean War. Currently, she is working on several projects including a children’s series based on the teachings of the Tao, a family ancestor story tracing back to a Civil War hero, and a children’s book about an adventurous monkey named Pawlee. When she's not reading and writing, she loves planting, pruning and picking produce from her garden. She will drop whatever she's doing to spend time with either of her two sons, her daughter, or any of her family.  If you need something and she's got it, consider it yours.  Vickie gets a kick out of going to estate sales. Her most recent find was a Tiffany lamp for just $25!
